Job Description

We're looking for a passionate Accountant to be an integral part of our Durban team. This position requires managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with South African tax regulations. Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Compile and review financial statements and reports.
• Manage daily cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available.
• Coordinate with external parties on financial matters.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives.
• Support financial audits and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Assist in strategic planning and forecasting.
• Perform financial analysis to inform business decisions.
• Develop and manage internal controls.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes.
• Identify opportunities for financial improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CA, ACCA) are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
