Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Administrator to lead our operations in Cape Town. This role is crucial in ensuring that our administrative processes are streamlined and our patients receive exceptional care. You will collaborate with various departments and manage budgets effectively while adhering to healthcare policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and organizational policies.
  • Manage the workflow of patient admissions and discharges.
  • Coordinate with finance departments regarding billing and insurance claims.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patient inquiries and complaints.
  • Participate in strategic planning to develop organizational goals.
  • Analyze administrative processes for continuous improvement.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new administrative staff.
  • Assist in the development of communication strategies for patient engagement.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance.
  • Create and maintain a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare administration or a similar role
