Job Description

Join us as an Urban Planner in Cape Town, where you will design and manage urban development projects. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, from government officials to community members, ensuring that our projects enhance the urban landscape while being sustainable and functional.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and feasibility studies to assess new development sites.
• Develop detailed plans and models for urban projects and land use.
• Collaborate with local government and community groups to gather input for planning.
• Analyze and interpret zoning laws and regulations affecting project proposals.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and community meetings.
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulations during project development.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and environmental scientists throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or Environmental Design
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in urban planning or related fields
