Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Construction Manager to lead construction projects in Cape Town. You will manage resources, timelines, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining communication with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to motivate and guide teams towards successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities.
• Ensure all work is performed according to design specifications.
• Supervise and mentor on-site staff and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs to adhere to budgetary constraints.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.
• Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate contractor performance and maintain high standards.
• Complete regular progress reports for management and clients.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years managing construction projects
