Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrator to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring that the healthcare facility runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and optimize administrative processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee healthcare facility operations with a focus on quality improvement.
  • Direct and supervise administrative functions to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Ensure adherence to health legislation and compliance standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets and financial resources effectively.
  • Support the healthcare teams by facilitating ongoing education and training.
  • Address patient issues and staff relations with a focus on resolution.
  • Monitor departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement necessary changes.
  • Prepare and present management reports on healthcare operations.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners and healthcare providers.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the patient experience.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration
  • Relevant Master's degree is advantageous
