Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing compliance regulations and ensuring that all company practices adhere to legal standards. This role involves working closely with various departments to provide guidance on compliance issues and to develop policies that promote compliance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the company operates in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Review and update compliance policies regularly.
  • Coordinate compliance training sessions for employees.
  • Identify compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation.
  • Conduct investigations into compliance violations and recommend actions.
  • Work closely with the legal team on compliance-related issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of compliance software and tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance management
