Job Description

In the role of Retail Manager, you will drive operational success and foster a high-performance environment in our Cape Town store. Your focus will include developing strategies that enhance customer engagement, managing staff, and ensuring all sales targets are met amidst a rapidly changing retail landscape.

Responsibilities

• Drive the store's operational goals through effective staff management and training.
• Establish customer service standards and lead initiatives to achieve them.
• Budget management, including overhead costs and projected sales.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to strategically position the store.
• Provide leadership in creating an engaging and motivating workplace culture.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports for upper management detailing performance metrics and operational challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Retail Management, Business or related field
• MBA is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in a managerial role within retail or a similar environment

Languages

• English: Fluent
