Join our team as an Orderly, where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of patients within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe transport of patients throughout the healthcare facility.
• Provide support to patients during transfers, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions to healthcare staff.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment is ready and available for patient transport.
• Engage in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of patient transport areas.
• Maintain accurate records of the transport activities undertaken.
• Participate in training and development initiatives related to patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare staff to meet patient needs effectively.
• Follow all established protocols for infection control and safety.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
• Completion of recognized patient care program is an advantage

Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
