Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our auditing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will oversee audit processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide strategic insights based on financial data. This role is key in maintaining the integrity of our clients' financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the audit process and ensure quality control.
  • Conduct pre-audit assessments and client interviews.
  • Draft and finalize audit reports for submission to clients.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance audit efficiency.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Train and oversee junior staff on audit procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with the firm’s internal policies.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business and industry.
  • Evaluate the performance of audit staff regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • MBA or similar advanced degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in auditing, with management experience
