We are seeking a skilled Furniture Finisher (Antiquer) responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and selling antique items. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of antique restoration processes and market trends within the antiques and collectibles sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate furniture pieces for restoration and resale.
• Develop marketing strategies for selling antique items.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff in restoration techniques.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines related to antiques.
• Oversee the logistics involved in the transportation of antique items.
• Manage client expectations and handle queries professionally.
• Create impactful display setups for antique items in store.
• Utilize digital platforms for promoting antique sales effectively.
• Document restoration processes for future reference.
• Network with other antique dealers and restorers for collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Antique Restoration or related field
• Bachelor's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3 years' experience in antique restoration and appraisal
