Job Description

As a nurse with Local Health Services in Durban, you will provide vital patient care, administer treatments, and support patients and their families. Your role will include monitoring patient health and coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Foster a safe and respectful environment for patients.
  • Implement nursing interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Engage in patient health education and disease prevention.
  • Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
