Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health examinations and evaluations.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Advise on animal nutrition, behavior, and health care practices.
• Implement vaccination and preventative care protocols.
• Collaborate with shelters and rescue organizations on local initiatives.
• Assist in leading community education efforts on responsible pet ownership.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all practices.
• Utilize EMR for accurate record-keeping and patient management.
• Participate in veterinary research initiatives as needed.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and their pets.

Requirements

Education

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
• Additional qualifications in animal behaviour or emergency care preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a mixed practice setting
