Job Description

We are seeking a Surveyor to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on land surveying, mapping, and project management. You will work closely with engineers and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys and measurements.
• Analyze data to prepare survey documentation.
• Engage with clients to determine project needs and requirements.
• Support the development of project proposals.
• Ensure timely submission of all surveying documentation.
• Train junior surveyors and interns on best practices.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in land surveying

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Survey Equipment
• GIS Software

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Professional Surveyor License
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Familiarity with the latest CAD software and techniques.
• Knowledge of local zoning laws: Awareness of zoning regulations in Bloemfontein and surrounding areas.
