Job Description

We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing case files, preparing legal documents, and conducting legal research. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the legal field.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys throughout the litigation process by managing documentation and case materials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain essential case information.
  • Draft various legal documents and assist in filing with the court.
  • Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
  • Assist in client correspondence and meetings.
  • Work closely with attorneys to ensure compliance with court rules.
  • Summarize depositions and witness statements.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing the case management system.
  • Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
  • Experience in litigation support is preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation
