Job Description

We're searching for an Actuarial Analyst to join our Cape Town office. In this role, you will analyse data and trends to assist in the development of insurance products. Your analytical skills will play a crucial role in assessing risk and pricing strategies while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse insurance data to develop product pricing strategies.
  • Assist in preparing actuarial modelling and analysis.
  • Evaluate risk factors for various insurance portfolios.
  • Support the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims departments to refine processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and adjust models accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences or Statistics
  • Master's degree in Actuarial Science or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the insurance or financial sector
