We're searching for an Actuarial Analyst to join our Cape Town office. In this role, you will analyse data and trends to assist in the development of insurance products. Your analytical skills will play a crucial role in assessing risk and pricing strategies while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement actuarial models.
• Utilise statistical software for data analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams on product development initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external use.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences or Statistics
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in the insurance or financial sector

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
