Job Description

We are in search of an Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Durban. The role entails assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of mechanical components while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble products based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct tests and inspections to verify product performance and specifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on product design.
• Assist in the development of assembly documentation and training materials.
• Identify and communicate areas for improvement in the assembly process.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in assembly or manufacturing environment
