Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animals, providing excellent veterinary care, and ensuring the highest standards of animal health and welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animals' medical conditions and recommend treatments.
  • Ensure proper anesthesia protocols are followed during procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animals' health.
  • Engage in continuous education and training in veterinary practices.
  • Assess laboratory tests and imaging results to inform diagnoses.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians and administrative teams.
  • Inventory management for medical supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of current veterinary practices and procedures.
  • Participate in case discussions and utilize teamwork for complex cases.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
  • Additional certifications in specialties preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical settings
