Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to identify issues and devise effective testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute tests for software releases.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide training and support for junior QA analysts.
• Evaluate test results and recommend improvements to testing processes.
• Assist in the implementation of quality assurance tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance

Technical Skills

• Quality Assurance Tools
• SQL

Certifications

• ISTQB Certification
• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Selenium and JMeter: Proficiency in using Selenium for test automation and JMeter for performance testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines: Understanding of continuous integration and deployment processes.
