Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Traffic Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist surveyors with fieldwork and data collection, utilizing cutting-edge surveying technology. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Aid surveyors in planning and conducting field surveys.
• Collect geospatial data using GPS and total station equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot surveying equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks on survey data.
• Document field activities and findings accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• National Diploma in Surveying or related field (advantageous)

Experience

• 2+ years in surveying or geospatial data collection

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Trimble Equipment

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Exposure to Geospatial Technologies: Familiarity with geospatial software and tools is advantageous.
• Certifications in Surveying: Relevant certifications are preferred.
