We are seeking a driven Epidemiology Project Coordinator to lead our public health initiatives in Pretoria. In this role, you will oversee the planning and execution of epidemiological studies, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of epidemiological project implementation.
  • Design data collection methodologies that align with project objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote project outcomes.
  • Analyze and interpret epidemiological data to inform decision-making.
  • Develop training resources and support materials for project staff.
  • Coordinate with governmental and non-governmental organisations for project synergy.
  • Ensure the smooth running of project timelines and deliverables.
  • Utilize statistical software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Promote awareness of public health issues within the community.
  • Provide mentorship and technical assistance to junior team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in public health or epidemiology
