Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for analyzing software license agreements, ensuring compliance, and managing software licenses and renewals. Your role will be crucial in collaborating with internal teams and providing guidance on licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret software licensing agreements to ensure company's compliance.
  • Track and manage software licenses, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Support compliance audits by gathering relevant data and documentation.
  • Work with legal teams to address compliance issues and assist in negotiations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of licensing processes and suggest improvements.
  • Educate and train staff on compliance-related issues and software licensing.
  • Conduct regular assessments of licensing practices to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams on software asset management.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management review.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field related to Business or Law
  • Advanced degree or relevant certification preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in compliance management or licensing roles
