Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in our Pretoria location. You will be responsible for dispensing medication, offering patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Our ideal candidate possesses a strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and a passion for improving patient health through medication management.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Provide expert advice to patients on the safe use of medications.
• Work closely with health professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document and maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication usage.
• Conduct medication therapy management sessions.
• Assist in managing pharmacy operations and workflow.
• Provide educational seminars on health and wellness.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Master’s degree in Pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist

Technical Skills

• Pharmacology

Certifications

• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
• Certification in Medication Therapy Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
