Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in our Pretoria office. The candidate will implement safety policies and evaluate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety committee and promote a safety culture.
• Ensure the implementation of safety measures and protocols.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Communicate with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance on health and safety regulations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for safety.
• Review and update safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Health and Safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in health and safety roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
