Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pharmaceutical products and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the proper use of prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of IV medications and other sterile products.
  • Educate patients about their medications and potential side effects.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Assist in training pharmacy technicians and interns.
  • Implement and adhere to quality assurance programs.
  • Participate in community health outreach programs.
  • Provide support during health promotional events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
