Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Social Worker, where you will play a key role in supporting individuals and families in need. You'll conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling services to empower clients and facilitate their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze clients' social, emotional, and financial situations.
• Create and implement effective intervention plans and strategies.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
• Foster relationships with clients to build trust and rapport.
• Work with schools and organizations to promote mental health.
• Conduct research to inform practice and community needs.
• Provide education and resources on social issues to clients.
• Collaborate with legal and healthcare professionals to meet client needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Social Work is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in social services

Certifications

• Trauma-Informed Care Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
