Event Planner

Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Event Planner to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of various events, ensuring each occasion is memorable and executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate every element of events from initial conception to final execution.
• Maintain a keen eye for details and ensure all elements come together smoothly.
• Prepare and present proposals and contracts to clients.
• Assist in marketing and promoting events to maximize attendance.
• Facilitate logistics management including equipment rental and transportation.
• Be available onsite during events to address any issues that may arise.
• Manage a small team of junior planners and event assistants as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Postgraduate degree in Event Management or Hospitality is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate setting.

• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
