Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a wealth of experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction processes and manage project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with architects and other professionals involved.
• Lead project meetings and keep all parties informed.
• Evaluate contractors’ performance and compliance to contract.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate delays.
• Supervise the work of subcontractors and construction staff.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
• Keep detailed records of project stages.
• Solve problems as they arise during construction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Experience

• 5 years of progressive construction management experience.

Languages

• English: Fluent
