Job Description

We are seeking a skilled E-commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role involves developing e-commerce strategies, optimizing online sales channels, and enhancing customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and implement tools and platforms for enhanced e-commerce functionality.
  • Lead the execution of new product launches on the e-commerce platform.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to assess effectiveness and ROI.
  • Optimise the customer journey from interest to purchase.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in e-commerce technologies.
  • Facilitate communication between vendors and marketing teams.
  • Champion customer feedback initiatives to improve product offerings.
  • Develop training materials for internal teams regarding new e-commerce initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development regarding e-commerce trends.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to foster innovative ideas for the e-commerce site.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or related field
  • Master's degree in E-commerce is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in an e-commerce role
