Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our growing team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and financial modeling. You'll provide valuable insights to support our clients' decision-making processes and help them manage risk more effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial risks using stochastic models and other statistical techniques.
• Engage in ongoing learning and development initiatives within the actuarial field.
• Coordinate with IT and data teams to ensure accurate data collection and processing.
• Develop dashboards for tracking key performance indicators.
• Formulate strategies to mitigate risks identified through data analysis.
• Assist in designing and implementing actuarial software and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or related fields
• Master's degree or other professional qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in actuarial analysis or financial services
