We are seeking a motivated Travel Consultant to join our vibrant team in Durban. You will assist clients in every step of their travel journey, providing personalized service from destination selection to post-trip follow-ups. Your ability to anticipate client needs, along with your solid knowledge of travel regulations and industry trends, will ensure our clients receive the best recommendations and support.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies to drive business growth and client retention.
• Process payments and manage transactions securely.
• Attend trade shows and networking events to promote the agency's services.
• Stay informed about competitor offerings and market changes.
• Support and mentor junior staff in the travel advisory role.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Tourism Management
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of travel industry experience

Technical Skills

• CRM software knowledge
• Travel marketing experience

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Negotiation skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluent in additional languages: Knowledge of other languages like French or Mandarin.
• Previous experience in customer service: Proven track record in providing excellent customer service.
