Job Description

Become part of our engineering team as a Mechanical Engineer based in Johannesburg. You will engage in hands-on engineering design, analysis, and testing responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and innovative, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and models using CAD software.
• Evaluate the performance of mechanical systems through simulations.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and budgets.
• Liaise with clients to understand specifications and requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks in the engineering process and propose solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations.
• Support the development, testing, and implementation of new techniques and technologies.
• Keep abreast of engineering trends and innovations within the sector.
• Work on projects that require adherence to tight deadlines and budget constraints.
• Participate in training workshops and seminars as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
