Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our growing team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication use, providing expert advice to patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and advise on their safe use.
• Provide patient counselling and education regarding medications.
• Monitor patient medication regimens for efficacy and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide immunization services and health screenings.
• Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and stock.
• Participate in pharmacy outreach programs and patient health initiatives.
• Stay informed on pharmaceutical developments and pharmacy regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in public health or clinical pharmacy
