Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our growing team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication use, providing expert advice to patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on prescription medications and adherence strategies.
• Conduct health assessments and recommend therapeutic interventions.
• Oversee the preparation of compounded medications as needed.
• Monitor for drug interactions and contraindications.
• Ensure compliance with medication storage and management standards.
• Assist in developing pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Participate in community health outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in public health or clinical pharmacy
