Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Dentist to join our friendly team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent patient care and will have experience across a range of dental procedures. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients while maintaining a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and assess patient dental health and hygiene.
  • Formulate treatment plans, including preventive care and cosmetic procedures.
  • Perform complex dental procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Guide patients in making informed healthcare decisions regarding their oral health.
  • Ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients.
  • Work within a team of dental professionals to improve patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in all dental practices.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote dental health awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a dental practice
Technical Skills
  • Restorative dentistry
  • Pediatric dentistry
Soft Skills
  • Patient communication
  • Teamwork
Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
