Mechanical Engineer

We're on the hunt for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving, contributing to various innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process and coordinate with production teams.
• Utilize CAD software for detailed designs.
• Evaluate and improve existing mechanical systems and processes.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead product development initiatives from concept to completion.
• Engage in continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Support training and mentorship of junior engineers and interns.
• Prepare and present project updates to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role

• Mechanical Systems Design
• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
