Job Description

Join us in Cape Town as a pharmacist where your expertise will help shape the health of the community. You will be responsible for overseeing medication therapies, providing expert health advice, and contributing to an environment focused on patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' medication regimens and make necessary recommendations.
  • Provide information on prescription drug plans and insurance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses for optimal patient care.
  • Implement and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
  • Manage patient records and pharmacy inventory efficiently.
  • Conduct educational workshops for patients and community members.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of pharmacist experience in a community or hospital setting
