Job Description

The Powerhouse Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the powerhouse of a manufacturing plant. They will ensure the safe and efficient operation of boilers, generators, turbines, and associated equipment to provide power and utilities to the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Manage boiler operations, including inspections and adjustments.
  • Document maintenance protocols and safety procedures.
  • Participate in safety training and drills.
  • Control emissions monitoring systems and respond to variances.
  • Monitor fuel supply and consumption rates.
  • Provide support during plant upgrades and modifications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Additional certifications in Boiler Operations preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in powerhouse or energy operations.
