Job Description

The Insurance Auditor will conduct thorough audits of insurance policies and claims to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and an attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements and relevant data to evaluate the financial health of policyholders.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Underwriting Department to improve risk assessment processes.
  • Ensure that audit processes are documented and compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in developing training materials for staff on compliance and audit-related topics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional Certification (e.g., CPA) preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry preferred
