Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to enhance product functionality.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, and performance testing of applications.
• Create automated test scripts where applicable to improve testing efficiency.
• Assist in the design and implementation of testing tools and methodologies.
• Perform user acceptance testing and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of testing processes and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications

Technical Skills

• Agile Methodologies
• SQL

• Critical Thinking

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile working environments: Proficient in working within Agile teams and participating in sprint planning.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools: Experience in using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing.
