Construction Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Manager to manage our diverse construction projects in Durban. In this role, you will handle project timelines, budgets, and quality control while guiding and mentoring on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings with stakeholders to discuss project timelines and deliverables.
• Establish project objectives and ensure they are met in alignment with client specifications.
• Supervise subcontractors and direct site operations.
• Ensure that materials are sourced and used efficiently on-site.
• Prepare cost estimates and track expenditures throughout the project.
• Maintain effective communication across the project team and with clients.
• Implement solutions to onsite challenges and optimizations.
• Train and mentor junior site staff in construction practices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in construction supervision or project oversight

Languages

• English: Fluent
