Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Project Manager in Durban, where you will manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve coordinating with subcontractors, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct construction projects, ensuring all phases are completed on schedule.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and addressing variances.
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, and other professionals to align project objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to reduce potential issues.
  • Ensure proper allocation of resources and equipment for site activities.
  • Prepare and submit project status reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in complex construction projects
