Job Description

As a Meeting, Convention, and Event Planner, you will play a vital role in the conceptualization and coordination of diverse events. Your creativity and attention to detail will ensure that every aspect of the event runs smoothly, from initial planning to final execution.

Responsibilities

  • Plan event logistics from venue selection to catering arrangements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown to ensure standards are met.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors for cost-effective solutions.
  • Draft event schedules and coordinate activities and programs.
  • Monitor event progress and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained throughout events.
  • Work on creative concepts and themes for events to enhance guest experience.
  • Implement event technologies and software for efficient management.
  • Provide leadership and support to junior event staff.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new event venues and trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Event Planning
  • Master's degree is advantageous

  • 5+ years of experience in event coordination or project management
