Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in Port Elizabeth. The right candidate will have a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service, ensuring guests have a comfortable and welcoming experience. You will coordinate daily operations, manage staff schedules, and ensure the upkeep of guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of housekeeping operations.
• Set cleaning schedules and assign duties to team members.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and lobby.
• Provide training on cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control related to housekeeping.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Implement new cleaning technologies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Hospitality Management is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of housekeeping experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role
