Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a knack for creating unforgettable events, from corporate gatherings to personal celebrations. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from initial concept to execution and follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed event timelines to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Provide on-site coordination during events to handle any issues that arise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals.
  • Assist in developing and managing event marketing materials.
  • Work with the design team to create event themes and decorations effectively.
  • Compile guest lists and invitations and track RSVPs.
  • Prepare reports on event successes and areas for improvement.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to minimize disruptions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in event planning or a related field
