Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Manager to oversee all aspects of hotel operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and an unwavering commitment to excellence within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operations management, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Engage with guests to gather insights and improve the guest experience.
  • Encourage staff development through training, performance reviews, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Create and maintain budgets to maximize profitability while ensuring high standards.
  • Oversee sales strategies aimed at attracting new clientele.
  • Manage event planning and execution for conferences and special occasions hosted at the hotel.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to strengthen the hotel’s brand presence in the community.

Advantageous

  • Language skills in additional South African languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Experience in event management: Ability to coordinate and manage events effectively.
