Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Advisor to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal counsel, providing advice on various legal matters, drafting contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is essential in helping our clients navigate complex legal landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legal issues and prepare strategic recommendations.
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures.
• Manage relationships with external legal partners when required.
• Coordinate and oversee the legal aspects of business transactions.
• Participate in industry seminars and networking events.
• Assist in the training and development of junior legal staff.
• Develop and maintain legal documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Law (LLB)
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of legal advisory experience, preferably in corporate law

• Admitted Attorney Certification
• Mediator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Setswana: Conversational
