Job Description

Join our distinguished team as a Legal Advisor where you will be responsible for assessing legal risks, providing strategic advice, and collaborating with various departments to ensure that our practices are compliant with applicable laws. The role necessitates a proactive approach to legal challenges facing our firm and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with external clients and partners.
  • Manage legal documentation and ensure proper filing and record-keeping.
  • Review advertising and promotional materials for legal compliance.
  • Provide training to staff on legal matters and compliance issues.
  • Engage with external legal counsel when needed.
  • Monitor legal developments and evaluate their impact on business operations.
  • Participate in the development of corporate policies.
  • Draft internal memos and correspondence related to legal issues.
  • Act as a liaison between management and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Education
  • LLB or higher advanced legal degree
  • Master’s in Law is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in private practice or in-house legal departments.
