Job Description

We are seeking a Business Lawyer to join our Johannesburg team, providing expert legal counsel on corporate law matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks to support our clients' business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations in various business transactions.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide guidance on compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct legal research to stay informed about relevant legislation.
• Develop legal strategies to mitigate risks for clients.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to align legal advice with business goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
• Postgraduate qualification in Corporate Law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in commercial law or similar field
