Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Skid Road Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to move logs and timber along skid roads in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery to facilitate timber movement effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with forestry crews to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure adherence to safety practices at all times.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Participate in site meetings to discuss operational improvements.
• Engage in training and development opportunities when available.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logging operations preferred.

Certifications

Languages
