Job Description

We are in search of an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and possess a solid understanding of HR best practices. The HR Generalist will play an integral role in supporting the HR department by managing various functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Assess organizational training needs and develop training programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Create HR-related reports and metrics for management.
  • Maintain employee records and confidential information.
  • Participate in the development of the performance management system.
  • Assist in implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Manage employee wellness programs and promote a healthy workplace.
  • Support succession planning and talent management efforts.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee feedback and suggestions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR or SPHR) is desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist role
