Mechanical Field Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Field Engineer who can work onsite in Midrand. You will play a crucial role in the development and execution of mechanical systems, focusing on efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical systems at client sites.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Evaluate customer requirements to ensure mechanical solutions align with specifications.
• Assist in quality assurance processes and audits.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to optimize resource use and system performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer registration is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in field roles
